Admission to bukalasa seminary

We welcome all aspiring candidates to apply for admission to Bukalasa Seminary, the minor seminary of the Masaka Diocese. Our institution’s mission is to develop young men who have a calling to serve in the Catholic Church by giving them academic, moral, and spiritual guidance.

Entry

The seminary accepts students who have finished primary seven for senior one and senior four for senior five each year.

Procedure

Applicants must show up early enough to the parish and tell the priests that they want to enrol in the seminary. Qualified students must fill out the seminary application form and submit it, preferably prior to the interview or on the day of the interview, along with other requirements. In the third term, applicants from other schools who wish to join senior five must pick up the printed forms from the Seminary and bring an application letter.

Reporting Date

The seminary requires all successful applicants to arrive by 2:00 PM with the necessary paperwork. A copy of seminary rules and regulations is mandatory and may be obtained from the form master. To obtain clearance, new students must complete the verification process.

tuition fees

We advise all parents to make payments directly through our seminary account to ensure smooth and secure transactions. Payments can be made by obtaining the bank slip from the bursar or by using their respective student codes when paying via bank or mobile money platforms.
